Are the plugins simply not usable on Mac, or am I not getting something here...

They aren't. These are 32-bit Synthedit plugins which never were available for Mac and haven't been updated in at least 8 years.

Before Guenter passed away he planned to build on a different SDK 64-bit synths for pc and mac also. But the developer of the SDK was in hospital with a broken leg. So he has to wait.
Some of his ideas inspirated me to build synths with Reaktor 6 - in the moment Reaktor don't supports M1.
