I have to agree Cubase is a nice looking DAW. Tracktion Waveform 12 looks beautiful on a modern Monitor too.
Really? I think Cubase's GUI is absolutely f**king awful. It's a horrible mish-mash of styles with no continuity at all. I honestly can't think of a DAW with a worse GUI - FL Studio, Studio One, Cakewalk, Live, Bitwig and Logic all look way, way better.

After a decade or more, this is still my favourite GUI -

I just love it, with or without the English labels. I even like the countdown you get in the demo version so much I haven't bothered authorising it for my new laptop, just so I can watch it.

This is currently one of the latest versions of Hive skins I've created atm (black version is different). These incorporate the new features that the latest Hive 2.1 skin provides...although it's still a bit of a wip project atm.

A bit too much contrast between the white and black, don't you think? I can't make out much of the detail in the dark parts.

Forgot that I had set Hive to the darkest gamma level before posting that, and it looks a tad better at it's brightest gamma level after changing it. But yeah, atm the contrast is a tad high so will be adding a little brightness and lighting techniques to the central screen, elements and display, similar to the smaller displays.

Dune 3 for its simplicity and single page nature. It's one of those synths you can look at for extended periods and not get fatigued. Nothing is cluttered.

DS Thorn is another good one.
