Agree. I think they've struck a good balance between adding new stuff and improving the overall quality of the collection by updating old emulations that don't hold up so well anymore. I actually look forward to the rewrites just as much as new instruments. There are so many classics in the collection that deserve to be brought up to modern emulation standards.EnGee wrote: Sun May 08, 2022 11:30 pm Although I was waiting for a "new" emulation that never done before, I'm actually glad that Arturia is not forgetting their legacy of emulations. I prefer them to update "old" emulations that they already have in their catalogue other than just adding new ones. Of course, ideally I like them to do both! Updating the "old" ones and introduce "new" ones (digital emulations included), but overall I'm happy for their direction.
Even just adding voice dispersion to the CS-80 will make it sound so much more alive (though I really hope the update also improves the filters, ring mod, etc.).
