The release is called "Space & Tone"

Bitwig Studio 4.3 is now in beta testing for users with an active Upgrade Plan. It features new spaces via Convolution and Delay+, and an analog tone bundle for Polymer/The Grid.

Convolution Reverb is really nice. New Delay +, and Polymer gets some nice oscillator and filter upgrades.

Very cool update.

Fantastic!

really glad theres a convolution device now, ive been using convolution a lot recently and plan to keytrack the tuning knob to use it as a resonator or complex harmonic filter

Not as revolutionary as some of the previous releases, but this one has a lot of really interesting updates.

Massively looking forward to checking out those filters.

I'm excited about the Convolution device too. So many possibilities with modulation and FX.

Have you heard the new oscillator and filters in Polymer? Really nice. As much as I'd like to see improvements to the arrange, MIDI editing, and automation editing ... this is a nice update.

Also, "Ghost of Kiev" preset for the new Delay+ is nice :)

Another +1 for convolution - I was thinking the other day that a built in convolution was something that I missed.

Convolution sounds fantastic too. I have to admit, this is the update I didn't know we needed with devices I actually wanted.

A solid collection of new stuff and improvements... not bad at all for just 3 months since the last update! :)

Anyone fancy guessing the reverb impulse sources?

rev480 = Lexicon 480L
rev60 = Lexicon PCM60
rev200 = Lexicon Model 200
MA7 = Bricasti M7
M5K = TC Electronic M5000
UK780 = KlarkTeknik DN780

obvs we can load our own, but these sound pretty nice already.

The convolution device is impressive. Import, as well as drag and drop audio from the timeline. I think it said the first 45 seconds will be used for the impulse.

Years ago I picked up Diego Stocco's Rhythmic Convolutions 2, and I'm excited to try these out with the new Convolution device.

Can you modulate the start and end points of the impulse? I was thinking I could have a long 45sec impulse derived from something and then modulate the start and end points to get a series of different effects on a sequence of notes

You cannot modulate start and end points

I don't see a direct way to modulate start and end, but you could setup multiple convolution devices in an FX Selector and modulate selection between as many different start and end settings as you want using the selector.

The FX Track Sends is something I had long given up on ever seeing in Bitwig so it's super awesome to get it now!
Also the comments addition will be useful.

But I would like to see some more significant QoL changes, like step input and a reworking of the piano roll editor and maybe some gui improvements. Bitwig seem to need to keep pushing out new devices at every update, I guess to help marketing, but at some point they should really look at refining what the've already got.
