anyone get sampletank2 free into tracktion

I was reading another thread saying its best to keep this turned on and just not use the plugs that don't work with it...interesting

it is a well documented fact about Real Time Priority Mode. I think most people just turn it on because it sounds like it's gonna help improve things.. (btw, I'm not implying that was your reasoning).

but direct from Tracktions pop-up help menu...

Realtime mode will make Tracktion the highest priority task running on the computer, which will probably help to reduce the minimum latency possible.

The most serious problem with realtime mode is that some VST plugins can freeze the operating system when you click on their interfaces.  (This is caused by the way the plugins' interface code is written, and there's nothing Tracktion can do to fix this problem!)

It can also cause less dangerous side effects such as making the computer unresponsive when the CPU load is high.

Best way to find out if it works well on your PC is to try it.

Thats kinda comical in a way It sounds like its just raising the priority of the program,much like you can manually do in the task manager...
Bottom line....Sampletank2 free on channel 1 and Plugsound free on channel 2 running in free version of Tracktion gotta love it...

Soft Piano Pad Karma or what! just fiddlin with it right now ,Greg a slide of the filter turns it into a bell sound with a pad sustain

Neato. I almost chose the default as a sound in the song I'm working on. 1000 WusikStation presets, but I didn't want to dick around looking for something when the PS one worked fine. But then I stumbled across a lovely WS one, so it got replaced.

Lovely sound in the PS, though.
