:hail: Please help: is there a way to scrub (scan through audio by dragging the mouse) in Bitwig? For example in Reaper or in Melodyne you just need to grab and drag the playhead (the "now time"). This function would be especially useful for me
a.) to find the exact edit point of a clip or audio event;
b.) to sync video (in VidPlayVST) to tracks/musical events in Bitwig.
Here is an example how it's implemented in Reaper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrQIEOgR5TQ

Am I missing something or this function is not yet available in Bitwig? :bang:

Thanks

Follow up on my original post:

I contacted Bitwig's Support, they got back to me in less than an hour with this response:

"Bitwig Studio currently does not have a scrub functionality – a useful feature indeed.
We are considering it for future updates.

Fingers crossed :pray:

Please gawd. I just Googled to find out if Bitwig does this and now I'm sad.

That would be cool to modulate.

Yes, Bitwig should have this.

You can in Sampler. Wouldn't make much sense to have this modulatable on the project level, as there's single playhead. Although you can always bounce-in-place the Master, put that in Sampler and play with it that way, too :)
