Not seen much chatter about these digital boutique fx pedals,
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/xgear/
have bought an X -Vibe one to try out, watched a couple of youtube vids using these with synths, and sounds promising.. I await delivery.

What exactly is it that makes a pedal by a company the size of IKM "boutique"? I think it would sound far more 2020s to call them "bespoke".

You can try them all today- the hardware is identical to the plug in pedals (as they are all digital) and you can download them from IK to try I got them all free with MAX, they are pretty good (but I don't need them in hardware)Goony wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 12:56 am Not seen much chatter about these digital boutique fx pedals,

I dont always have my computer turned on, so its nice to just doodle without it on, hence some hardware fx needed
But will demo those others now thanks

Is it just me, or is the design of these IKM pedals a little too close to Eventide?
This is why I love having DSP effects in my Apollo X6. I tried a couple of Strymon pedals for a while, but it was just a PITA and took up more desk space than I could afford to give up, so I just stuck with the onboard effects and it’s been so much better, especially with all the hardware synths I have.
