When I look at my 'View Product Details' tab for V4 or V5, it shows all of the synths from those collections installed and activated with the current versions.

So this is what I'm seeing in V Collection 4 vs V Collection 8:
V Collection 4
Analog Lab
Analog Lab 4
Analog Lab V
ARP 2600 V2
CS-80 V2
Jupiter-8 V2
Matrix-12 V
Mini V
Modular V2
Oberheim SEM V
Prophet V2
Solina V
Spark 2
Vox V
Wurlitzer V
V Collection 8
Analog Lab V
ARP 2600 V3
B-3 V2
Buchla Easel V
Clavinet V
CMI V
CS-80 V3
CZ V
DX7 V
Emulator V
Farfisa V
Jun-6 V
Jup-8 V4
Matrix-12 V2
Mellotron V
Mini V3
Modular V3
OB-Xa V
Piano V
Prophet V3
SEM V2
Solina V2
Stage-73 V2
Synclavier V
Synthi V
Vocoder V
Vox Continental V2
Wurli V2
So the only instrument in common is Analog Lab V (but I don't install any of the Analog Labs.)

Hello, I have a question in terms of the difference between V-Collection and Analog Lab:
I own Analog Lab 5 and I just downloaded the Mellotron-Trial. I always thought that you have all the presets of the V-Collection in Analog Labs, but I have just seen that there are some presets in the Mellotron-VST that I can´t find in Analog Labs. Is there a way to transfer those presets to Analog Labs? Will they be shown in Analog Lab when I purchase the single Instruments or V-Collection?

Time was when Analog Lab had all the presets of everything, but that was too good a deal really. Now you get a few of everything, which is still good to get a flavour of what it can do.
But yes, whenever you own the real thing, all of that instruments presets show up in Analog Lab. Don’t know what happens with trials, sorry.

Alright, thanks. I also just found out that Analog Lab doesn't even contain all the samples of the full instruments and that's why some of my Analog Lab Presets didn't work. But gladly installing the demo of the Mellotron solved this problem.
As a pigments user I unfortunately missed the 149$ offer.. so if anyone want's to give away their V-Collection feel free to send me a message

Of course this isn’t as good of a deal, but some sites have it for $299. That’s only about $10.68 per instrument.

I’ve got a question that I couldn’t find an answer yet: let’s say I buy V-Collection 5
or any old version second hand. Will I then be able to upgrade to V-collection 9 for the same price as if I bought V-collection 8 directly from Arturia now?

This used to be the case, but more recently they give a better price to those with the latest versions than to those with older versions.BuddySpencer wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 12:58 pm I’ve got a question that I couldn’t find an answer yet: let’s say I buy V-Collection 5

One of the best ways to upgrade to the latest version (VC9 currently) is to grab an older version for very cheap. Because for all the older versions you get the same $299 upgrade price, which is only $100 more than if you are on the latest version. So, depending on how cheap you got the older version, you can still be close to or better than someone that, for example, spent $149 to get VC8 with recent Pigments crossgrade offer and then $199 to upgrade to VC9. And definitely beating the intro ($499) or KeyLab crossgrade pricing ($399) by a decent amount.

My upgrade price shows as $149. (From 8.1)
And as much as I really like the improvements to the CS and VS, the rest of the improvements and additions have seemed to have pushed me into a psychological saturation of not really needing any of it.
Definitely can wait for a 50% off sale. And may even find more reason to eliminate it all except for Pigments by that time.

I had pigments 3 1st, then got analogue lab etc with my keylab 61 mk2 and keystep, then bought v8 for 200, and the upgrade to v9 is 200, I'd rather spend it on presets. For 100 I'd be tempted, but hell no at 200...BBFG# wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 9:02 amMy upgrade price shows as $149. (From 8.1)

If you wait they may eventually have sale that's less than $199 to upgrade, but it may be a while.
