This must be how R&D at Korg started and then ended up making Wavestation and then Wavestate. ;)

you built the projects on what amounts to a cookie sheet...I got this around 4th or 5th grade, I even made a kind of theremin controlled by a photocell...as a kid that was indeed my favorite toy.

in fact this might be the theremin...that thing that looks like a face on the bottom I believe is the photocell...they called it an organ though.
