When I load an instrument e.g. Retromod 106, it tells me that it cant find the library location. So i go into the global instrument settings and point to the location where I have a the presets and samples installed. I am then able to use the instruments as intended. However, when I reload the plugin it says that it can't find the library locations.
Is this a common error?
Thanks,
Carey

Carey,
You didn't indicate what your system consists of, but if it's Windows, make sure your Instruments and Samples directories are located here:
C:\ProgramData\Tracktion\Retromod 106\Instruments
C:\ProgramData\Tracktion\Retromod 106\Samples
If you moved or installed them somewhere else, it's possible for the RetroMods to lose their place each time you open it.

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate your help. Sorry, I didn't provide any system information. I've returned to the PC platform after being on mac for 15yrs.
Ryzen 5900x, 64GB RAM.
I find it strange that the installer allows me to choose a custom directory for the install and then ultimately require a certain folder for for proper operation. I certainly don't like the idea of filling my system drive with audio data.
I assume I can just move the data over to the other location manually through windows explorer or do i need to do another install?
Thanks again,
Carey

The plugins now work as expected after moving the data to the location you specified.
Thank you,
