they did say theyll do what they can so i appreciate that, if they give something decent it would be an all round positive, i like the new features in pp too

I’m tempted because now looks like it makes more sense to buy on the deal with all the Essentials then subscribe….

Great value with this discount and free tools! Great sound, workflow and UI, what's not to like?!

The only negative thing is the cpu spike when changing the presets, but this is minor only! It's stable and with good cpu usage (normally 5% to 10% and rarely 20% on Ryzen 5800x) :)

Ok! Enough synths! With this purchase, I ... I ... I will try to not buy another whatever the discount! :phew:
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

vurt wrote: Fri May 20, 2022 2:15 pm how the hell did you remember, he'd made a post that long ago? :o

it's not like it was a recent thread.
Because he's that intent on trying to one up me.

Like it matters that much.

That was proven this morning on Discord when he and a couple of others pretty much went ape shit because I said it to the Khz people who use Discord.
I'm trying to make you see that you have inconsistent reasoning and are behaving like a spoiled child. You think good deals should only apply to you and you throw your toys out of the pram when things don't go in your favour. You only took to Discord this morning because you didn't get the validation you expected on here. You accuse users on Discord of going apeshit when all we did was call you out on you being salty because the reshuffling didn't go in your favour. Most customers here on KVR and on Discord are happy when good things happen for other people, you should join us :)
Couldn't be further from the truth, your fanboism is shining bright.

You've been very busy to put people down who dont agree with you, and that was proven this morning on Discord, when you spat your dummy out and critisized not just me here, but everyone. YOu are the one acting like a child, and its apparent you love KHz they can do no wrong in your eyes, and that blinds you that not everyone shares your opinion.

Quite frankly, you are just embarassing yourself, even the KHz team had to mod you to shut you up.
I put one person down, you, because you took it upon yourself to be salty in multiple places on the internet because you feel you have been wronged because a plugin developer decided to give away some plugins that you previously paid for.

KHS aren't even my favourite developer and I too have been "wronged" like you have but I choose not to be petty about it on the internet, but apparently that's fanyboying.

You are only this p!ssed because you were reluctant to invest in their products to begin with, but you let your GAS get the better of you and did it anyway and now you're angry because you're stuck with a bunch of software you didn't really want/need. That's a you problem, not a KhS or fanboy or anyone else problem.

When you have calmed down you will come to realise this I'm sure.
You cried like a child because your fanboism wouldn't let you be any other way. Isn't that right Chris .

But then nothing you've said sits with me because you are if iring the facts.

Btw trying to act a martyr is a joke because you sit in discord with them quite happily. And now you are here in the palace you slated acting like a fanboy again.
Sooner you see that the better.

Doesn't matter how many different ways you dress it up, me and plenty others are not pleased with this move.
I am sorry, but honestely I don´t get why people like you are pissed off...

If they wouldn´t be free now and still payware, what difference would that make to you???
Would you feel better when you wake up in the morning??
Do they sound better because they are payware??

You bought them at that point in time because they had some value for you, I guess...
Now that they are free, does this reduce this value for you???

Of course you can be angry about yourself that if you would have waited you would have saved some money but that´s really it...

I don´t get where this greed and grudge comes from...

" I spent a lot of money for them... this made it something special for me...
Now that they are free, it´s the company´s fault that I spent money for nothing... and now that everybody get them for free they are nothing special for me any longer!! " :dog:

Is this the way you think???

The money you spent is gone anyway... it was worth for you to spend this money...
Now that they are free, does it stop you using them the same way like last week or do they have stopped working now or sound worse??

I cannot understand how this is a reason to blame a company for...
Perhaps you should be sometimes less selfish and enjoy that many people who probably couldn´t afford them before can freely use them from now on... and who knows, perhaps one or two of them are that gifted that with these tools they might become your favourite artists and you enjoy their music in future...
What I don't get is why people like you, think that what you say is right.

What cost a lot of money is now free. They cannot be re-sold , so apart from a few of the things, the effects are now worthless in terms of recouping money spent should I decide to get rid.

But don't let that stop you trying to be so morally superior.
It won´t... :tu:
I didn't doubt it would , but I'll enjoy your repeated fails in the future.

I was pretty shocked when I saw them giving away nearly all their effects for free after selling them for years at $20-$40 each. It makes the value proposition for Phase Plant and their other hosts way better, but IMO the bundle is a pretty terrible deal now and the subscription is not very good either (though still mitigated by the voucher you get back if you intend to eventually purchase everything). And obviously they're losing any income they got from people buying individual FX. The change doesn't make a difference to me as I already had all the snapins but I like their stuff a lot (especially Phase Plant!) so I hope this works out for them.

As someone who recently wrestled with whether to buy Steinberg’s Absolute 5 at its spring sale price or wait for a sale and introduction of Phase Plant 2’s complete bundle, I find the new pricing interesting.

For Kiloheart’s May anniversary sale in 2021, the Phase Plant complete bundle was $350, which was what I was hoping for this year. Now it’s $399. Of course, it’s an updated product, etc., but it is a price hike, “sales”-wise.

The effects still being sold:

Carve EQ $79
Convolver $39
Disperser $59
Faturator $59
Slice EQ $79

Effects total = $315. (Half price on these would be $157.5 ((and there have been half-price sales on these)) ).

Add Multipass for $99 (it was sold for $29 in Dec 2021)
+ Effects for $315 = $414
+ Phase Plant for $99 = $513. (This makes the current complete bundle look good!)

However, if half-price sales for effects ($157) and Multipass ($50) were to re-emerge, even in a staggered-time sales arrangement, along with Phase Plant at $99, the total would be $306.

Meanwhile, I’m surprised and very pleased that Kilohearts is offering the rest of its effects for free, along with a free Snapheap! And I thank you for that!

The $30 voucher is nice also. I've got Convolver for $9 after applying it :)

There also seems to be a brief audio spike when changing presets that concerns me a bit more

Yes! I compared with other 'hungry' synths (Massive X, OPSix, Wavestate, Pigments and some others). Phase Plant is the worst when it comes to changing the presets. IL Harmor is still the absolute worst when it come to changing presets.
Anyway, I hope that Kilohearts will make it smoother when changing from preset to another especially the 'big' presets I noticed CPU hikes and a little of audio sound (on 4 DAWs I have) like the 'Ambient Doom Pad' preset.
It depends on the DAW also, the least noticeable was on S1 (Cubase is also ok) and the most was in Ableton Live (Bitwig is less than Live).
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

10 days. Click as if you were going to buy the ultimate bundle, and you'll see the option to download as a 10-day trial. I wasn't aware of any other limitations when I tried it a few months ago.
