Hello
I'm not going to explain the technicalities of this too well - just that AudioModern's Riffer is an Effect and won't work in Reason. Per AudioModern "Unfortunately, Reason does not support the use of Midi processor plugins, like Riffer, to send MIDI data from one track to another inside the DAW."
Will Patchwork (or preferably a cheaper Blue Cat alternative) work at all?
Thanks!
Anyone using Riffer in Reason via Blue Cat?

Audiomodern's Riffer works fine in Patchwork. It does require a few steps, though.
1. In Patchwork, load Riffer in the first slot of Parallel Chains. It'll show up as 1:1.
2. Load your synth in the slot to the right of it. It'll show up as 1:2.
3. Open the Riffer dropdown menu and change Midi Output to Port A.
4. Open your synth's dropdown menu and change Midi Input to Port A > Channel 1 and change Host > None. When left on, I got feedback.
As a side note: Riffer is the most full-featured arpeggiator I've ever used.
