Hi, I have a technical question:
ADSR.jpg
What would be a recommended way of connecting ADSR Envelope to Amp/Osc - Amp only, Osc only or both? Are there any differences in overall synth performance depending of how the connection is made?

PS. Sonically, variant A (or C) works better for me.

From a creative pov i recommend what sounds best for you.

From a tech pov i recommend to use B. In fact the volume/gain on the oscillator originated in the early times of MuLab, but i think it would be better if it was removed and that you always use an amplifier module to control / modulate volume. That's just thinking loud, nothing decided. Feel free to share your thoughts on this.

I often use oscillator's 2nd mod input pin for AM to achieve some inharmonic sounds, can be done later on in the amplifier stage ofc but I think as it is now it makes it more convenient and fast.

Thank you guys! I placed an "Amp Distortion" between Osc and filters to saturate the signal. The ADSR envelope connected to the Osc. creates a "variable drive level", which to my ears sounds nice (the effect is very subtle).
