I meant with the 'PA Forever $29' subscription where you pay 29.99 per month and can buy one plugin per month for $1 at a time.Teksonik wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 10:41 pmThat does seem to be the new pricing scheme after the merger. Or just wait for a better deal like today's which is DS Thorn for $24.99 which is a great price on a great synth.paulo72 wrote: Sun Jun 05, 2022 9:49 am PA Forever $29[/url]' subscription where you pay 29.99 per month and can buy one plugin per month for $1 at a time.
There are 4 plugins on sale today all at or under $24.99
Long time PA customers know it's just a matter of patience and you'll get deals without having to set up payments for a monthly subscription.

Is the Unfiltered Audio ducking reverb any better (at ducking while sounding good) than R4/Nimbus/Neoverb?...Teksonik wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 10:41 pmThat does seem to be the new pricing scheme after the merger. Not quite anything but many things have been priced at $30.99 so far.
That would be good news but I have just about everything I want from them. I tried the new Lisa and Soma EQ's and wasn't impressed....

I am demoing iZotope VocalSynth 2 and I am surprised that the GUI is not resizable. It's more than 3 years since the release and the current version 2.5 and still this option is not there?
Not a big issue, but would appreciate if someone could confirm this. I am running Windows 11.

looks at Native Instruments
They're also not in the 21st century UI-wise and especially their big ones (Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt) aren't resizable at all, which is a real nuisance when working with their products.

So any company still not able to make that work, when others clearly can, is just a failure on their dev side tbh
However I find the issue of non-scalable interfaces when we had HiRes displays for ages quite more of a stronger issue, especially since there is a workaround with Rosetta for the time being on Mac. The non-scalable issue is just f**king laziness and not really caring tbh. And yes, not everyone has 20/20 vision

According to Stat Counter:LKBorg wrote: Sun Jun 05, 2022 5:04 pm However I find the issue of non-scalable interfaces when we had HiRes displays for ages quite more of a stronger issue, especially since there is a workaround with Rosetta for the time being on Mac. Desktop Screen Resolutions Percentage Market Share
Desktop Screen Resolution Stats Worldwide - May 2022
1920x1080 22.29%
1366x768 18.09%
1536x864 10.78%
1280x720 6.13%
1440x900 5.97%
1600x900 3.45%
Does that mean higher res monitors don't even have 3% or are these stats skewed? It only adds up to 66%

At any rate in my opinion if a GUI is too small for 1920x1080 then it's outdated.

The tests I’ve seen between M1 and Rosetta didn’t show much gain from being M1 compatible. If that’s the case (and I could certainly be wrong about it), doesn’t it make sense for companies to wait on becoming M1 compatible?

Do you need an M1 compatible computer in order to develop M1 compatible plugins?
If so that may explain why some small developers have had to wait....

Some devs’ plugins are based on frameworks that make it difficult to port to ARM. Certain unnamed devs can’t even make a goddamned installer or resizable gui for that matter, so who knows?Teksonik wrote: Sun Jun 05, 2022 6:34 pm Do you need an M1 compatible computer in order to develop M1 compatible plugins?
