IMO, no. The megaverb/ultrareverb/tai chi/nimbus/r4 reverb ducking are more musical. Maybe I just don’t like the reverb itself, so the ducking seems irrelevant.

I remember when Kontakt 6 was released I thought *finally* all the gripes that that software has had will be addressed in the expensive paid upgrade. I was really shocked that not only were things not fixed at all, they were actually made worse. That marked the end of Kontakt for me. Haven't used it since and wont purchase anything that relies on it.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Sun Jun 05, 2022 6:43 pm When will Kontakt be resizable and scalable do we reckon? 2035?

Does anyone know if Native Instruments has another sale where they put some of their other Kontakt libraries like Picked Nylon on sale? I was hoping it would go on sale with this current summer sale but no such luck. Maybe for Black Friday? Thanks

Yes, that's for Black Friday time, where full version of products (rather than updates/upgrades) are usually 50% off, unless they decide to offer a lesser discount.seangm wrote: Mon Jun 06, 2022 1:39 am Does anyone know if Native Instruments has another sale where they put some of their other Kontakt libraries like Picked Nylon on sale? You can have as many subs as you want at a time. So you could buy everything in one month. Just don't forget to cancel the subs!

The non-scalable issue is just f**king laziness and not really caring tbh. And yes, not everyone has 20/20 vision
Desktop Screen Resolutions Percentage Market Share
Desktop Screen Resolution Stats Worldwide - May 2022
1920x1080 22.29%
1366x768 18.09%
1536x864 10.78%
1280x720 6.13%
1440x900 5.97%
1600x900 3.45%
Does that mean higher res monitors don't even have 3% or are these stats skewed? It only adds up to 66%![]()

At any rate in my opinion if a GUI is too small for 1920x1080 then it's outdated.
Dunno how that is measured (via web browsing statistics that also calculate mobile screens?), but there’s a huge gap between folks who just have a normal office desktop and those who use their screens professionally or for hobby/gaming.
So for any media production, professional or passion, screen real estate is key and apps not being able to zoom/adjust are just…. sigh

On the implemented ducking of reverb:
Baby Audio Crystalline is an absolute lovely, feature packed reverb to use! <3
I mean you can always use a dedicated compressor/ducker for that as well

What do you mean by the ”full version”? I own Komplete 13 Ultimate Collectors Edition, and beloeved there is only one product called that.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Mon Jun 06, 2022 2:59 amYes, that's for Black Friday time, where full version of products (rather than updates/upgrades) are usually 50% off, unless they decide to offer a lesser discount.seangm wrote: Mon Jun 06, 2022 1:39 am Does anyone know if Native Instruments has another sale where they put some of their other Kontakt libraries like Picked Nylon on sale? If no, what is the ”full version”?

Well, Komplete full versions are never directly on 50% off sales. I meant full versions of individual products. I did not mention explicitly in the context because seangm was mainly looking for individual products.Harry_HH wrote: Mon Jun 06, 2022 2:26 pmWhat do you mean by the ”full version”? However, the best time to buy Komplete is now as you can indirectly buy it for 50% off during Summer of Sound sale. Buy Komplete 13 Select for 50% off with code SELECT22, then upgrade to Komplete 13 or above for 50% off as needed.
Better if you already have an eligible NI hardware, so that you can upgrade to Komplete 13 Select for only $50 right now, and then upgrade further as needed.

Yes, Komplete 14 is due to be announced in September. It's important to remember that NI shuffles products between versions when new version of Komplete comes out, so don't dismiss the current sale on Komplete 13 upgrades if you really want something. If you have K13U CE, there's probably not much to look for in the current Summer of Sound sale.

I know there’s been a lot of discussion about NI Komplete and ‘what to buy’/‘when’ depending on what you’re looking for, but here’s one more for the group. Here’s my status:
I own Komplete 13 and would like to upgrade to 13 Ultimate, but the cost to upgrade is actually the same it would be to upgrade to CE, so I’m considering making that jump instead. Moreover, I’m really looking forward to adding Playbox and Lores to my library in the not-to-distant future.
Given all of that, do you all think I should
1) upgrade to Ultimate now, and update to 14 in the fall, or
2) jump for 13CE now and jump to 14 in the fall, OR
3) just wait till the fall and jump to 14Ultimate
Saving money is priority, but if it’s just $50 bucks or so I’d rather not wait.
Looking forward to to hearing opinions.

Hi guys! What do you think about the Inflator $39 sale on PB. Is that plugin so good? Or can you finally replace Melda's Mwaveshaper?
