It’s $299 for me to upgrade to either one. That’s just what I’m seeing when I log in. Not sure why the differentiation between what it would cost me and what it would cost you. My thing is, I don’t want to get the CE just for Arkis if it’s going to cost me a whole lot more to update to 14CE as opposed to 14 Ultimate. Hope that makes sense.LKBorg wrote: Mon Jun 06, 2022 9:25 pm What do you mean the upgrade is the same price?
I also own K13 and to Ultimate it’s 300€ and 500€ to UCE

If you use Reaper use RC Inflator. I own Oxford but for Reamixed used RC and my amateur ears couldn't tell the difference.maldomusica wrote: Mon Jun 06, 2022 9:58 pm Hi guys! What do you think about the Inflator $39 sale on PB. Is that plugin so good? Or can you finally replace Melda's Mwaveshaper?

The updates for CE are usually more than for Ultimate, so it will cost you more if you go to 14 CE later in the year instead of Ultimate.Vsthound wrote: Mon Jun 06, 2022 10:31 pmIt’s $299 for me to upgrade to either one. Are you sure that you are not comparing upgrade vs update prices?
I have Komplete 12 Standard. I am debating whether to update to K13 Ultimate or wait for K14. (There is not much exciting in the K13 update imho)
On the Komplete Bundles when logged in it shows Komplete 13 Ultimate Upgrade as $299.50
On the Komplete 13 Ultimate page it shows the update as US$199.50

I have it an use it rather frequently. It's not the solution for all problems, but it does perform very well for its intended purpose. I have the Melda one as well and can't tell any differences (I use it very subtly).

I think my eyes went criss-cross after a while of comparing and future-deal speculating. Yes! you're right, my mistake. $299 would be the upgrade for me to go to K13 Ultimate - and if I had ultimate, that would be the cost to CE. Thanks.Rusty O'Hara wrote: Tue Jun 07, 2022 7:27 pmAre you sure that you are not comparing upgrade vs update prices?

Wondering if PA will follow up this current sale with a megasale as they have done recently. With all the changes I wouldn't be surprised if the $20 vouchers were a thing of the past.

More megasale than the current one?
It seems like they’re now fully comfortable in the 19.99 - 29.99 Waves bracket with all their plugins!
Which also makes me refuse to accept any other pricing and will mark it as totally bogus, like 300€ for a tool.

We have the SSL X-Saturator in that price range right now ($19.99), and that's not something you typically see on sale (I think it's been on sale a total of once before). It's an exclusive deal we have - only available at Plugin Discounts. Thought it was worth mentioning.LKBorg wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 9:31 pm More megasale than the current one?

This isn't a 'Megasale' in PA speak. The last few years they've had a Summer or Xmas or Monster sale like currently followed closely by a Megasale where they give away $20/no limit vouchers. They've little I'm intereted in anymore, purely thinking in terms of the vouchers, if they do still give them out then maybe worth trying to sell some second hand licenses.LKBorg wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 9:31 pm More megasale than the current one?

Is there any advantage to buying at one store vs another? I'm considering getting the EastWest Hollywood Orchestra and it's pretty much the same price everywhere. I usually go with plugin boutique due to loyalty rewards but they don't have it. Any others that do that kind of thing?

- Price
- Possible free-with-purchase offers
- Loyalty rewards, cash back, etc.
As for EastWest in particular, I'd suggest buying at JRRShop. Opus Diamond is $334 with the coupon code "group", which is about 16% cheaper overall. It's also usually worth comparison shopping on AudioDeluxe; things tend to be cheaper than Plugin Boutique, plus they almost always have 4-10% back towards future purchases, so that often ends up being the best overall price. Opus Diamond is $359 plus $18 back at AudioDeluxe, so JRRShop ends up a couple bucks better in this case.
