Those who wanted to keep your music as hobby, what are your musical hobby goals?

i believe in this context, peace for the mind, is a goal.



for me, it's classed as a hobby because it's something i enjoy, that i have no professional goals in.

My neighbors grandson just started playing banjo, I told him if he learns the banjo parts we will play Dueling Banjos together (me on guitar of course, though I would l love to encourage him more in a Bela Fleck thing, it aint my place)

My only goals in regard to music, art or anything else I become interested in, are proficiency and knowledge pretty much. I seem to enjoy pursuing and being skilled at things. When I am not able to easily improve my skill in something, generally I'm not going to like it.

I am the complete opposite. If I have to work at something, I'll hate it. I'm happy to half-arse it every time. I can't play for shit, yet I'll happily get up in front of thousands of people and prove to them how woefully bad I am. I couldn't care less.

Just ignor people who shit on you.

I find that I have to be more and more like a child (relive what i was) to be more creative these days. Negativity sort of kills it for me.

Of course that might depend on the genre


My hobby goal? To have something on Soundcloud worth the time to listen.
