Dear all,
Today we’re super proud to present the fruit of more than a year’s work on something that’s very special to us.
We’ve talked about it before, and that garnered so much interest from the developer community that we simply could not resist going the extra mile.
So today we’re not just putting out a few betas which are compatible with CLAP, they also demonstrate some of the most advanced features that the CLAP working group finalised almost literally a week ago.
Here’s a little video that we put together for the occasion, showing some of the obvious advantages of CLAP:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2mywWyI9es
Furthermore, here's our joint announcement with Bitwig on behalf of everyone who made this happen:
CLAP - an invitation to explore and collaborate
If you have an active Bitwig upgrade plan or a license for MultitrackStudio, or if you’re adventurous enough to check out one of the open source example hosts, you’re welcome to explore these new features with our betas of ACE, Diva, Hive and MFM 2.5 (more u-he plug-ins will follow over the next few weeks and months):
ACE CLAP public preview 13207 Mac
ACE CLAP public preview 13207 Win
ACE CLAP public preview 13207 Linux
Diva CLAP public preview 13207 Mac
Diva CLAP public preview 13207 Win
Diva CLAP public preview 13207 Linux
Hive CLAP public preview 13207 Mac
Hive CLAP public preview 13207 Win
Hive CLAP public preview 13207 Linux
MFM2.5 CLAP public preview 13207 Mac
MFM2.5 CLAP public preview 13207 Win
MFM2.5 CLAP public preview 13207 Linux
Known Issues:
* Undo/redo update of GUI parameter not in sync with parameter value (don’t use undo/redo in CLAP)
* Some parameters currently cannot be modulated via Bitwig modulators (will be fixed)
* Bitwig modulators: modulation animation currently only working in global mode, not in per-voice mode
* Bitwig modulators: monophonic parameters don’t react to per-voice modulation
* Arpeggiator and sequencer presets won’t react polyphonically to per-voice modulation
You’ll need the Bitwig 4.3 beta 6, which you can download from your Bitwig account if you have an active upgrade plan.
Please note, in order to catch yet unknown quirks and bugs, we activated some stricter error reporting in those beta versions. This might sometimes cause the plugins to crash. That’s nothing to worry about, and won’t happen in a final release version, of course.
If you happen to find some issues, please post them here, or even better, report them to our support team directly:

The liberal license is exactly what they found appealing. They're even in talks with others to make CLAP the plug-in standard for gaming engines.ThomasHelzle wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 3:26 am Some of my favourite devs on there

We're working on a "Palcer" (as opposed to a "Clapper") which wraps a CLAP as an AU.
As I always said, it's not so overly important for CLAP to have wide host adoption since the technology and its open license allows for literally any combination of import/export format. However, I'm over the moon that we already garnered so much interest, and that so many DAW companies are seriously looking into it!

Nice to see Presonus and FL Studio too.
