Plus, it will give you access to all the other TH-U Rig Libraries. Silverface Collection, Midgain Monsters, and Vocs HW are particularly good for those sounds.

FWIW, the new standard for that kind of tone is the new Universal Audio Dream 65 pedal. Beats AxeFX, Kemper, everything. Maybe not worth using with samples but it’s pretty cool that that level of quality is now available for a relatively low price.
For ITB now there's also Acustica Aero (currently on introductory sale, and has a free version)... if your cpu can handle it.

Especially as you aren't a guitarist and are going to use samples for the guitar parts anyway. Wouldn't you prefer to save money where you can? I dont see how Neural will make your mixes that much better. However, if you enjoy the feeling of owning Cory Wong tone and its interface, thats different. Wait for the next 50% off sale.
Thanks. Same thoughts here. I definitely don't see Neural DSP amps making mixes better. It's just that I accidently landed upon Cory Wong and was impressed by the great sound, ease of use and beautiful GUI. I see it as a different and simpler offering over GR6 and A5, both of which are a bit more complex and modular type. I definitely don't want to get carried away with amp sims purchases, so I would need to limit myself to Cory Wong and would wait for a good price. The wah pedal sound on it is awesome.

Thanks. That one sounds good indeed and a great price for sure. Unfortunately, I don't have the TH-U full version. Also, it seems to be similar to GR6/A5, so the immediacy I liked in Neural DSP doesn't seem to be there.

Ou_Tis: Thanks, but I am not into Acoustica Audio stuff. Not that they are not good, just a personal preference.

That version of the TH-U 60's Pack is a standalone product. It doesn't require prior ownership of TH-U and it will allow you to load any Rig Library without owning TH-U.

I'm surprised to hear that the Cory Wong plugin has that much impact on a clean Strat sample library. I usually get Cory Wong-type tones with a DI, not an amp.

I see, thanks for the information. I just read on that page that it needs the full version, so got confused since I have never owned TH-U stuff.

I think it's not just the sound aspect of Cory Wong. I felt inspired when I loaded the demo. I found it a bit simpler/different from the conventional guitar amp plugins.

By the way, sorry if this discussion doesn't fall exactly under the bargain topic. I only wanted quick opinions so thought to post here.

That's great. If you felt inspired, that's saying a lot. I almost never feel inspired by guitar amp plugins.

I wasn't either. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried Cory Wong. Sure, there might be nothing special about the tone and perhaps you could get it from other plugins, but it does seem to have a good sound character and the minimal onboard effects including the wah pedal sound great. If you try it, you might like it too. ;)

In manual they are saying it's available in AAX. I'm not sure it applies to Intro as well, at least it should.

Analog Lab V manual
2.2.3. Using Analog Lab V in Plugin Mode
Analog Lab V comes in VST, AU and AAX plug-in formats for use in all major digital audio
workstation (DAW) host software, such as Cubase, Logic Pro, Pro Tools and more. You can
load it as a plug-in instrument and its interface and settings will work in the same way as in
standalone mode, with a few small differences:
• The instrument will now sync to your DAW’s host tempo.
• You can automate numerous parameters using your DAW’s automation system.
• You can use more than one instance of Analog Lab V in a DAW project (in
standalone mode you can only run one instance of Analog Lab).
• You can route Analog Lab V’s audio outputs more creatively inside your DAW
using the DAW’s own audio routing system.
Now that you've set up your software, it’s time to play!

In Terms and Conditions they didn't even change their other scam website. Surprisingly the other site's name also comes after another big known webshop.

They are legit and I've done quite a bit of business with them in the past.

People in pluginboutique are aware of these scam sites using their name with small variations. If I remember correctly they mentioned the problem in some facebook post. But if something seems to be too good, it's usually is (a scam). Fabfilter total bundle 10$ is just laughable.

Post

yeah, that makes sense. didnt even got to the fabfilter offers, just seemed too shady.
I've also bought quite a bit from pluginboutique, which is obviously legitimate. these are the times...

Is there another coupon for Eventide plugins? I saw a 25$ one that expired or they have canceled it

Pretty sure that one was a mistake and wasn't supposed to stack in the way it did and they cancelled it.
