Dynamics processing and Maximize to 0dB

Hi,

I wonder if this has been discussed many times before. It would be beneficial for the Maximize to 0dB -feature in all dynamics plugins to actually try to hit something like -0.6 dBFS. This would prevent unnecessary ligting of clipping warning lights in DAWs.

Hi, not really, this is level processing shape, not peak processing. It was originally meant to do sort of loudness compensation, but it just often doesn't work, so now it is mostly disabled, sometimes handy, but it wouldn't do what you hope for
