maybe... ;-)

(I'll try... can't promise yet that this will be in Zeebs...)

Are these videos an actual look at the GUI or just something that’s being used for testing purposes?

All work in progress. But it feels pretty good already, so I wouldn't expect any big surprises of the negative kind.

I quite like the current color scheme, it looks super easy on the eyes.

Agreed, it has a nice Kemper green to it

I dont see oscillator unison/stack? :-)

Im curious kf Zebra 3 will have low cpu footprint like Zebra 2/legacy :-)

Post

It's there, but not in the UI yet.

No, it will use more CPU depending on quality settings.

Gotcha, thank you :-)

Fathom has an elaborate set of drawing modes based on Bezier curves. It also has some interesting morphing options, although it doesn't do literally what Zebra 2 does with geomorph.

I'm confident that Zebra 3 will beat Fathom in terms of ease of use, CPU usage and having a Linux version :-) But you might want to take a closer look at what the competition is offering there...

Definitely looking forward to being able to spread or compress the spectrum for "inharmonic additive" (if that's a thing).

It would also be great if the additive mode lets us import the partial amplitudes from a CSV or text file. In Z2, trying to draw anything precise in the "blend" modes is a little painful.

I'm around 15 years late to the Zebra party but I opened up Z2 for the first time "for reals" today and tried the comb filter for the first time and completely lost my cool. I love comb filters. I love additive, I love inharmonicity, and I'm already head over heels for Z2 right now, even coming from Phase Plant and Harmor and Pigments and whatnot I feel like NOW I'm getting started on synthesis. The sleeves are up now, this thing is SO COOL!

Reading what I just read about an additive rendering module in Z3... It's a good thing, for now, that I don't have a girlfriend

I am really kicking myself for not buying Zebra 2 in November when I had a chance. Waiting for 3 seems a long way off.

I'm assuming here you mean to get in on Z3-- Urs and co. are kind enough to let upgrade paths transfer along with their respective licenses of Zebra2... So it is still possible to get in on that, if you can find someone selling. I myself did that, and this synth goes so deep, I will not be ready to start learning Zebra3 for another year :D my only regret is that I did not buy earlier in November so my money did not go to directly funding U-he.
