FFS, Steinberg! Can't you even be bothered to get your System Specs correct? This is pathetic! It's actually false advertising.Atlatnesiti wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 1:53 pm Well, it appears that it is not AS native after all…

Uhhyou plugins (created by Japanese developer Ryuaku) have started the migration to ARM architecture in Mac.
https://github.com/ryukau/VSTPlugins/re ... gins0.34.0
Currently, all of those can be downloaded with ARMS builds included in the VST3 container:
- BasicLimiter
- BasicLimiterAutoMake
- CollidingCombSynth
- FDN64Reverb
- L3Reverb
- L4Reverb
- LatticeReverb
- LightPadSynth
- ParallelComb
- PitchShiftDelay
Be aware that they are offering generic VST3 containers for all operating systems, so before adding these, select the option of seeings the contents of the package by right clicking on them.
You will see that together to the Contents folder, they also include two files: desktop.ini and a Plugin.ico. Be sure of deleting these two files before adding them to you DAW. You will probably also need to put these out of quarantine with the command:
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /path/to/your.vst
It's important to remove the two files that I mentioned prior to do this, it's an Apple thing: you can't sign or approve content for applications including any files outside the Content folder in the root of an app or plugin folder.
Also note that for most of these plugins, there are presets that you can install.
Go to the web of Ryuakau, click on the name of the plugin. And once opened, open the English manual. Here you will find the link for downloading the presets, you will need to install these manually.
https://ryukau.github.io/VSTPlugins/index.html
Also, be aware that most of these plugins have an experimental nature, and they are intended for extreme sounds. Be sure of putting a Limiter before trying these, most of them include feedback networks.
With CollidingCombSynth, which I absolutely love for creating dissonant orchestral
musical arrangements, it's easy to reach a +300 db signal by tweaking parameters without knowing what you're doing.

Continuing with the Uhhyou plugins, I see that in addition to the ones listed in the Github link that I posted, FDNCymbal, SyncSawSynth, TrapezoidSynth, WaveCymbal, MiniCliffEQ and SevenDelay also have ARM universal builds.
As with the last ones, you will need to do the trick or deleting the two extra files included in the root folder of the VST3 container.
Playing with these last night, TrapezoidSynth is one of the wildest takes on phase distortion and a love letter to the Casio legacy.
In my opinion, this and CollidingCombSynth are essential.
