Who wants Ableton Live´s Groovepool in Bitwig

Groove is my most wanted feature right now. (Bitwig is so good in nearly everything else for me.) Until there is groove control, I'll stick with Ableton 11+. Warping and extracting grooves with audio and midi should be incorporated into a groove system.

Gets my vote since many years now. Need retrospective record and an arrangement track or sketch pad like studio one or cubase too.

The Clip Launcher is the sketch pad in Bitwig.Bobby L'Avenir wrote: Thu Jun 23, 2022 11:01 pmand an arrangement track or sketch pad like studio one or cubase too.

For it to be similar to arranger track, you woudl need something like a track at the top that showed which scene you copied over. If you start and prefer arranger, you may not even have stuff in clip launcher.pdxindy wrote: Fri Jun 24, 2022 12:11 amThe Clip Launcher is the sketch pad in Bitwig.Bobby L'Avenir wrote: Thu Jun 23, 2022 11:01 pmand an arrangement track or sketch pad like studio one or cubase too.
An arrangement track, as in Cubase, would be a very useful thing in Bitwig. Just gives more flexibility in the arranger window - which is the most important part of Bitwig when wanted to finish a track.

^^^ I usually create an 8bar length sketch pad by moving a time signature marker

and use clip launcher as "backup"

I'm not a heavy clip launcher user, but I do use it as a scratch pad.. that is copying stuff over from the arranger messing trying out changes and copying it back in._leras wrote: Fri Jun 24, 2022 7:47 pm For it to be similar to arranger track, you woudl need something like a track at the top that showed which scene you copied over. To mimic the arranger. Copy the sections you want to arrange to scenes.
From there you can try new arrangement live by launching scenes, or copying to new scenes in the order you want.
Yes it would be a nice feature, i'm not familiar with Cubase, but it looks like Reaper has the same basics down with its regions and region playlist extension. I would really like the regions feature because it makes it easy to move or copy regions without planning._leras wrote: Fri Jun 24, 2022 7:47 pm An arrangement track, as in Cubase, would be a very useful thing in Bitwig. Of course you and anyone else are free to wish for whatever you want. I was pointing out that a sketch pad in Arrangement seems unlikely what they have the Clip Launcher._leras wrote: Fri Jun 24, 2022 7:47 pmFor it to be similar to arranger track, you woudl need something like a track at the top that showed which scene you copied over.
