In the past I had something like that when a Melda XML config file was very large. WaveTablepresets.xml in my case. I guess there is some "magic" done to upgrade config files during updates. And this fails when the files are too large.
Check in the folder where Melda has its config files if there are any extraordinary large files. In my case it worked to rename the xml file. Then update and then re-rename the xml file back.
The latest 16 version also has some new mechanism about the wavetables. In my case I needed to delete the WaveTablepresets.xml. Then update and then batch re-import all wavetables.

There are no folders where Melda has anything on my computer anymore, they were all uninstalled during the installationakeia wrote: Sat Jun 25, 2022 8:38 am In the past I had something like that when a Melda XML config file was very large. That has happened a few times to me too. At this point, I've given up on importing wavetables. It would great if this could be fixed.akeia wrote: Sat Jun 25, 2022 8:38 am In the past I had something like that when a Melda XML config file was very large. WaveTablepresets.xml in my case.
