Search using special characters

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, recently registered user.

I'm trying to search for all listings in Sell & Buy for some synth goodness, specifically: "u-he".

I take it "-" is to exclude terms, and "u" is too short of a String to be queried, so it's not an easy task.

I tried several combinations: u-he, "u-he", u+he, uhe (which returns results for "uhe" but not for "u-he"), u*he, to no avail.

I thought you'd want to know In the meantime, I'll be searching for some more specific strings.

The search in the phpBB software seems to be pretty bad indeed...

You probably have better luck searching for the specific plugin you are after.

I am jumping aboard this, coz I encountered several times that the search in here doesn't like using special characters and bugs out. Just like now when I tried researching "wave synthesis" it told me: COMPUTER SAYS NO!

I don't think that wave synthesis is a too common word xD
