Your Bitwig licence never expires, you just stop getting free feature updates…Pinku Eiga wrote: Wed Jun 29, 2022 8:30 pm So probably, when my Bitwig license expires this Christmas, I will think in switching to Ableton. Even when I prefer every single aspect in Bitwig over Ableton.
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Yeah, I know this. Well, when mi plan expires, I will think in switching to Ableton. Unless I find a solution to host AUv3s inside Bitwig using some wrapper. But at the moment, none of the them (Bluecat's Patchwork, DDMF Metaplugin, Kushview Element) support this.SLiC wrote: Wed Jun 29, 2022 10:04 pmYour Bitwig licence never expires, you just stop getting free feature updates…Pinku Eiga wrote: Wed Jun 29, 2022 8:30 pm So probably, when my Bitwig license expires this Christmas, I will think in switching to Ableton. Honestly, seeing that Bitwig doesn't even support Audio Units v2, and their commitment with CLAP, I doubt that they will make this move.

My guess is that there is very little chance. There is no benefit for them to do so.Pinku Eiga wrote: Wed Jun 29, 2022 10:15 pmHonestly, seeing that Bitwig doesn't even support Audio Units v2, and their commitment with CLAP, I doubt that they will make this move.
