Yes, they're very cool. They have an infectious energy. I discovered them recently and they're cranking out albums... the undies is the guitarist's "thing" haha... he was a dentist, but I think they're doing well enough for him to just do the band now.
Are there any great albums (iyo) from the past 5 years that you play on regular repeat? (I'm on the hunt for new music!)

You're clearly talking to yourself there.BONES wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 12:22 am Of course, as usual, your contribution is absolutely f**king nothing, all you're interested in doing is picking an argument over some irrelvancy, presumably so you can show us all just what a sad little man with nothing to contribute you are. Good news - mission accomplished!

I’ve been listening to a lot of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard recently.
They release so many albums it’s hard to keep up.
Their band name put me off for ages, not sure why it just did. And I’ve also listened to a band they’ve worked with a lot, Tropical f**k Storm which is a fantastic band name, their first album A Laughing Death in Meatspace is great.

Thank you everyone so far for your music suggestions.
For clarity, some suggestions here by other people will not be to my tastes - although in fairness, I've liked at least a bit or alternatively really liked all suggestions so far.
Honestly, regardless of my own tastes (and I only gave the 3 album options in my original post because those were truly albums that I've had on repeat recently, rather than definitions of the only music that I listen to) please continue to suggest any recently released albums that you have enjoyed listening to a great number of times during recent years.
Even if I don't particularly like some suggestions (and that could well be the case with some), other people might discover and enjoy some new music here - and that sharing between us of your favourite repeat (recently released) albums is really the strength of this thread.
Cheers

Kvelertak's newest album Splid is really good.
Listening to that band makes me wonder if that's how The Rolling Stones sounded to parents of kids in the 60s

And BACH by Bandalos Chinos from Argentina is really good as well, for a totally different vibe
