Fwiw, similar as with reverbs, I highly recommend to get a few cab IRs (there's countless decent free ones, too), mix them together and shoot a final one from the entire shebang. Works the same as with reverbs, just send a dirac impulse through things.

Few years ago I've bought Xtreme Samples TC System 6000 HD. I was disappointed b/c no true stereo versions.Aiynzahev wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 10:04 pm Anybody familiar with any of these and their quality?

ImpluseRecord Convology XT as a convolution reverb plugin might be good. More so it's freeware w/o the additional extensive commercial content also available.
But keep in mind that vintage hw reverb units which involve some sort of unique modulation in their algorithms can't be captured through normal convolution.
These non-lineraties get lost and so the original character isn't present in the impulse responses.
Advanced convolution techniques by developers like LiquidSonics or Acoustica Audio are capable.

Very good, thanks. But apart from not being true stereo how would you rate the Xtreme samples IRs?Etienne1973 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 11:09 pmFew years ago I've bought Xtreme Samples TC System 6000 HD. Also for Impulse record I wasn't thinking of their plugin sorry, I mean't their true stereo IR's like this one: https://impulserecord.com/true-stereo-1/
I'm using liquidsonics reverberate 3.

All good with Xtreme Samples apart from no ts versions.
It's the big Lexicon bundle, right? Many Lexicon algorithms use modulation to create their characteristic sonic picture. If you load these 3rd party irs into Reverberate 3 they won't sound like the hardware. Because non-linearities aren't captured.I mean't their true stereo IR's like this one: https://impulserecord.com/true-stereo-1/

LiquidSonics Reverberate 3 comes with Lexicon 224x, 480 and 91 fusion-irs. Non-linearities captured. Did you try them?

It requires the expensive Acustica N4.5, it has been on sale with up to 80% off in the past and now subscription, and not really basic IRs, although it does have plenty of reverbs.thmyrk wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 4:05 pmAlexB PCS. If you have N4, Ownhammer has some preamps for Nebula at $6 each.
