Hi, I am trying to connect Superior Drummer 3 to provide the midi grooves and use the Mdrummer as a sound source. I am using Studio One and have figured out how to route Superior Drummer midi to MDrummer. The issue is the mapping of the drums to trigger the correct drums in Mdrummer. Question is .. do I use Midi input filter in Mdrummer to change the mappings or should I try and do it from the superior drummer side of things? Anybody have any ideas? Any pros or cons of each approach? Thank you

I find MDrummer interface very challenging. Mapping notes in SD3 is easy, you can drag the notes from one slot to another. So I map in SD3. MD as an idea generator is great. But after I have the basics, I export to midi and finish my editing in Reapers midi editor. At that point you may end up dragging the notes back to your "classic" positions. Depends how you like your DAW midi editor.

Well, it should be relatively simple - open Input MIDI filter, press a drum in SD3, it will automatically select it in the Input MIDI filter, select which drum it is. Do that for all drums. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.
