Man Urs -
Just had to come over here to your personal forum to spread some more Filterscape gospel.
I haven't been able to take my hands off this thing. I try to move on and get other things done, and keep starting Logic, or Rax, or even Nicecast and inserting Filterscape on things and just being more and more blown away by this thing. It is absolutely stunning, so many ways to tweak the sound, but so intuitive. Everything from subtle filtering or eq'ing to dramatic warping, twisting, and morphing of sound. The filters blending seamlessly between LP, BP, HP, and Notch in realtime is just an amazing thing to hear. The eq morphing is just plain flat out ridiculous, and being able to control the morph via MIDI CC makes for endless possibilities. I know I pimp Urs' stuff pretty hard, but this thing - I don't have enough words for this thing, it's just blowing my mind.
Filterscape ROCKS!!!

I was just remarking to myself last night how great Zebra was. Functionally great. I've bought so many of the soft synths available for the Mac in the last 6 months. There are several that I really like. Some with more features than Zebra. But somehow, Zebra is the one I come back to most often. It's hard to describe why. The sound and the interface are just the most organic to me, I guess. Whatever it is, it sounds great, and it's easy and fast to get around. The word funky always comes to mind when I'm not trying to avoid being pretentous.
And then today, THIS...This filterscape is just outrageous. Just being mesmerized right now, playing Zebra through it using Numerology (another great piece of software). Don't really know what I'm doing yet, but there is just so much here...what an amazing program for $79. Simply could not resist that price, though with my money going to several hardware purchases, this is really clothes money. I will have to pretend that my clothes are intact at work, I guess.
