Well what it actually shows is the management of Mackie is inept, even at managing a forum

Spe3D, do me a favour mate and look at the title of this forum. Look at the moderator list, look at the official mackie forum over on mackie's site, and then finally look at kvr regulations on company forums hosted by kvr, and then tell me why this forum has nothing whatsoever to do with mackie.

This forum has nothing to do with Mackie – this is very clear from the beno posts and the fact that Mackie don’t distribute the T software – I can see there is no connection at all with Mackie – K-v-R – Jules or even T

well you just posted here too, so I guess you are responsible for this forum too?

Beno is allowed to post here just like anyone else. That doesn't mean he has any control over this forum. Do you see his name in the Moderators list? I don't.

That has nothing to do with anything. This is the RMS forum. Mackie have no more control over this forum than you or I. Only BenKvR has any real say, and within the context of the RMS forum, only Jules has any further say.

Simple question: how can Mackie moderate this forum if they don't have moderator user privs?

Simple answer –

Either Jules or Mackie need to take control of their marketing strategy – they need to unify their appearance – at the moment it’s a complete shambles – and looks to the outsider as that.

If I were Mackie and my PR crew saw a forum like this – I would make very sure adequate moderation was imposed – (you know, keeping up appearances and all that)

The fact a ‘die hard myth’ exists is just one reason to consolidate the overall appearance.

I think valley makes this point because most people fail to realize the fine line between the two.. and it's that fine line which permits this forum to even exist in the first place.

Then this forum here at K-v-R needs a Valley mod in it - I vote for a second mod - ie Valley, seriously and/or a modular one

I think you would be good at it – you have used the program pleanty and know it – back to front. Plus you are not that easily rattled, and when you are you keep a cool approach in your posting of replies (ie they don’t turn to mush full of bad language and personal attacks) (even the edited ones

I also think it’s a worry that the forum has got to the state it has (I have tryied often to invoke a response worthy of a mod action here in the T forum) nothing happened.

1, this could be because Jules is sooo busy with the new version, he simply has not got the time to sort out us big kids.

2, this forum is going to be shut, so what the heck, let them do what they want. kind of thing.

In either case, to have this forum here at K-v-R is a bonus and should be kept – to do this more moderation is required – it should be someone who knows the program well and has adequate response mechanisms – Valley and Modular would be cool = gives the user the freedom as well as the creator, Jules.

This forum also needs to shape up fast now – just incase of the second option – don’t make it easy to delete.
