I have seen the tutorial videos how to set up a rack and place Kontakt 5 with16 out channels. Now with Kontakt 6 there is no explicit Kontakt 6 with 16 out available although a multi out is still possible. I do not know how to get it work inside a rack with Kontakt 6.
Anyone here to help me out?

Add an instance of contact to a track, Richt click/ select / wrap this plugin in a new rack.

What is the track's output device set to? How many outputs does that device support ?

The device output should be set to different tracks. It supports up to 16 outputs.Peter Widdicombe wrote: Mon Jul 18, 2022 12:29 pm What is the track's output device set to? How many outputs does that device support ?
My interface does support 20 Outputs (Focusrite Scarlett 18i20)

Does Kontakt show up in the rack with multiple channels? It should look something like this...
You then hit the little + lower right to add the specific output tracks you want this to appear on. I don't know if a 16-port driver would show up as 16 input ports on the right, as 16 outputs (rather than, say, 8 stereo or 16 mono track outputs)

Thats the video I have mentioned in my first post. The latest version 6 of Kontakt does not have a dedicated Kontakt 6 - 16 out app, different to Kontakt 5 which has this. So when I pull Kontakt into the rack there are just the 2 stereo out. I can´t add more outputs, not with the plus sign nor with any menu/dialog I have encountered. There must be another way to do it though.

I have the exact picture as shown by you when I create a rack with the BBC Orchestra. However not with Kontakt, that seems to be pretty tricky. I normally work with Logic and I have no problem to choose the multi-out there:Peter Widdicombe wrote: Mon Jul 18, 2022 2:44 pm Does Kontakt show up in the rack with multiple channels? Thanks, but this example is for Cubase... and completely different to Waveform.asprog wrote: Tue Jul 19, 2022 2:43 pm There's only one Kontakt 6 version.
You can change the number of outputs like you want, for example:
As you might have seen, I´m working on Logic normally and I have no problems to use it as multi-out there. However I have gone through your steps as well and tried all options (creating the outputs first and build a rack then, create outputs after building a rack with or w/o instruments...)

As you are on the Mac, make sure you are using the VST and not the AU version of Kontakt within Waveform.
For some reason the AU version does not seem to present options for more than Output #1 when used in Waveform, but the VST and VST3 versions both present all of them (to the point of annoyance as there is a massive number of outputs which is likely to make working with the plugin unwieldy in the rack).
