Hi,

I want to reskin my Gain plugin skin to a simple dial that looks like an Ableton knob but I have NO idea how to do that or create that knob png file with all the hundreds of knob pictures in. Can someone please help me?

I think the FLAT_KNOB in the Blue Cat Pns library is close to what you want.
However, if you want something exactly like the Abelton dial, then you could consider Knobman.

I think this will animate it for you also, so there's no need to create a hundred images. Also, Blender will do good knobs too - there's a tutorial where a guy creates one in just a few minutes. But Blender has a learning curve.

Thanks for the info.
1) How do I find FLAT_KNOB?
2) Does Knobman create those PNGs with all the knob pics in? I see there are things link .knob files. How do I incorporate this into a Blue Cat Skin?

Sorry for all the questions but "SUPPORT" did not want to help me and told me to ask for what I need here

If you look at page 49 of the manual you'll see it there:

The .knob files may just be the project files, it will export .png image files. If you look at the youtube link I gave above you'll see videos on how to make and I'm sure Blue cat can use what you export.
I wish I could help more from experience, but I just started PnS myself this week!

Thanks for all your help! I managed to change the picture of the knob with Knobman, but I'm wasting too much time understanding how the layout works in order to remove all the buttons and functions.
Rather gonna get back to making music...

Weird thing with that gain plugin is that even when I set the minimum to -20dB and maximum to 0dB, the dial still turns all the way from -60 to +60dB
