actually, if Ben does ban me I don't care anymore. I have noticed some things, for some bizarre reason.
1) Ever since i posted some of my music in the cafe certain people have been really mean to me
2) Ever since I started the hoax threads people are acting like I have committed mass murder
3) Every time I have the balls to stand up and say something about it , certain people say I am attention whore, when in reality they are just jealous because they'd never have the balls to do it themselves.
anyway, i'm done in this thread, it was a joke, it's over, Jules has made his point, that's it. move on and deal with it
I just reported this hoax business to the board mod....

Now, I might be acting argumentative because that's kind of my nature... and FWIW, I don't give a toss either way about the "hoax" threads-- I didn't find them particularly funny, but I wasn't particularly put off, either. no, whatever. This is a support forum regarding tracktion. Mackie just did a huge marketing stunt that brought in a huge amount of new users. New users come to see jokes, hoaxes, and faux's... If I just got NFR tracktion and came here, I'd most likely say 'Forget it.'

firstly - noone really cares,
secondly - this is not an official technical support forum; do you hang around here for support? do i not recall that you proclaim yourself king groundhog? in what way does groundhogging help anyone??
if hoaxing has really offended anyone then they really really do need to get out more! of course it's SO upsetting and offensive that hoaxes have happened! i think i'm going to stop using a perfectly functional piece of software because a few people have a different sense of humour to me!
soon jules is going to put a quote from a film i don't like and i'll be pissed and boycott tracktion!
simply, shut up. quit whining. what has changed? this is a forum. if you have a problem then i'll email the moderators as soon as you post one more unhelpful post. when you realise that you're no different to the hoaxers at the end of the day, we'll resume our respect.

All I said was that the hoaxes were becoming a bit out of control especially the one that used a Mackie IP masking.
