Hi folks,

It’s there an easy and fast way to do down and upward movement with the same node?

Thanks and kindly
Marek

What do you mean? You can lock gain movement of the y axis by holding shift.

Post

No, I mean I want the volume to go up and down dynamically with just one node, but there is just one slider per node for dynamic equalisation.

Post

In another way, I’d like to control the above and the below threshold behaviour of the dynamic function. When the volume gets below the threshold I’d like to have an upward behaviour and above the threshold the opposite. Is that possible?

I don't know of any dynamic EQ plugin that does this out of the box. In theory, you could build an MXXX (I know you may not have it, but it's the only way I can think of doing this) patch with the level split, and the different dynamic EQs per band.

Here's a very rough patch:

Code: Select all

And a video demonstrating it:

But no, there is not native way (to my knowledge) to have both upwards and downwards in the same patch

Thanks for reply, but than I go with Kirchhoff Eq for this.

Post

You can do this in the advanced dynamics settings of a band.

Use the Dynamics knob to set the dynamics range (I think it needs to be a negative value to follow the graph) and the Shift knob to set the threshold.

Kirchhoff Eq looks pretty sweet, though, and much more intuitive.

Going up and down is identical to moving the node down and have a dynamic gain positive (or vice versa)
