synthmaster 2.9 arpeggiator

I am a newbie to Synthmaster 2 and I believe that I should be able to import a midi file into the arpeggiator/sequencer either by dragging and dropping or selecting import from the drop down menu. However I have not actually been able to do this.

When I select import MIDI sequence from the dropdown nothing happens.

Can anyone show me a tutorial about how to do this.

OS: Windows 10
DAW: Ableton Live 11
RAM: 16 GB
cpu: InItel core i7 10750H
