5 more days left "to get a reprint of the book" according to the latest email, still no confirmation of post kickstarter release...whyterabbyt wrote: Thu Jul 14, 2022 9:07 am Additions for postage a bit prohibitive for me (it doubles the cost!), so probably going for the PDF version on the assumption this'll get published/distributed 'normally' later on...

I seem to recall that Tim Conrardy, once a great KVR regular who sadly passed away over a decade ago, started an RIP thread for Strange in which he recounted having studied with him at San Jose State University and lamenting that he somehow no longer had the wonderful textbook.
Thanks for the heads-up.![]()
tim was one of a few people who "taught" me how to patch synths myself, him and scot solida in particular were great inspirations and help for getting what i was hearing in my head![]()
that brings back some memories ...
both were very accessible and helpful ...
i learned quite a bit from their postings ...
scot and har-ar-ar ...
christus and the cosmonauts ...

An idiot on Set Theory:

I was going to stick with the PDF, tbh, but if you can try it and see what it says without committing, let me know. If not, dont worry about it.vurt wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 1:54 pm3 more days and still no confirmation of sales through shops afterwards.whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 9:34 amSorry, I did see this, thought I'd responded.vurt wrote: Mon Aug 01, 2022 1:18 pm5 more days left "to get a reprint of the book" according to the latest email, still no confirmation of post kickstarter release...whyterabbyt wrote: Thu Jul 14, 2022 9:07 am Additions for postage a bit prohibitive for me (it doubles the cost!), so probably going for the PDF version on the assumption this'll get published/distributed 'normally' later on...

yeah, weirdly, adds 35 for postage, for a single soft cover, even though it's 35 for both soft and hard covers?whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 2:10 pmI was going to stick with the PDF, tbh, but if you can try it and see what it says without committing, let me know. Yeah. If I knew 100% that that included import costs/charges, it'd be okay, but...vurt wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 2:19 pm

Just seen over at MW:
Hi Everyone. If you missed the kickstarter, you can still get on board for the second wave that will follow close behind. Email me at jnolan@ryerson.ca with your real name, country, and what you want, and we'll send out payment information mid-october.
