If so - the lazy gits - I'm pretty sure they'll have done a special licensing deal for that as the regular license definitely precludes it. I know Spectrasonics do bespoke licenses for some of their sounds that fall outside their general use. In their case that's sounds used in a non-musical context, or isolated. Not sure if that included the famous LOST titles sound, I think so.

The DJ Snake track takes one of the simple one-shots and plays a melody with it as well as bending it out of shape pretty well, so not exactly a case of lifting a melody from a sample pack. Its more like hating on someone for starting with a synth preset, editing it and playing your own melody.

Just to make sure I'm not missing anything, there's still no way that I could make my own presets from scratch, correct ? It's a locked-down rompler, with some authorised third-parties allowed to create presets ?

I seem to recall that's the case and the complete lack of anything on the website around this suggests it still is.

Just want to make sure I still have no reason to be interested

Oh that does look waaaaay better.

Still the big one for me - multi outs? You can easily see how it could work with the above layout, but will it?

It's a preset machine, a genuine rompler. And there are no 3rd party presets.

Oh, that's interesting. And this is going to be the public release right, it's not the dev kit for people making preset packs?

In other news, why the hell have they added pseudo rack ears to the design so we lose 15% of the horizontal space

i still got Nexus 2 installed, I got Nexus 3 though but still not installed it, can you exchange/stack different layers from different presets in Nexus 4?
