Is the only change the button colors?

Post

Slightly greyer background, and the red labels are more muted.

Had to download and see it on my own screen. The new version looks MUCH better here.

I always thought it looked a little soft. New version seems much sharper. I'm on Windows if that matters.

Post

The new GUI is way much better. +1

I don't see a ton of difference but is the new one faded? Seems similar at the top but a bit lighter at the bottom now. Not sure it's an improvement.

Post

others have mentioned other differences.. the modes are hilited no more, it does seem faded near the bottom, it is greyer, the red background is less prominent..
I definitely dont' see it as an improvement.

I kinda prefer the new skin, but with the old (grey) select boxes (ARP J8, Sync Mode, etc)

Not a fan of the lighter version. I also don't think the green buttons look all that good either, the original grey looked way cleaner and cohesive. Stills sounds incredible though.

I also quite like it. It's actually very subtle, but enough to make it somehow look more... solid? It's good

My screen is calibrated to DCI-P3 color space, though... the kind of screen and the setting can (will, actually) make a huge difference.

I'm seeing an unusual amount of stuck notes with v1.6.1 as opposed to v1.5.5. Anyone bump into this?

Try a preset with a reasonable amount of release in both envelopes and add some notes via Cubase’s Key editor while the sequence is running.

I went back and forth between 1.6.1 and 1.5.5 a couple of times with the same presets to be sure. There is something off with 1.6.1.
