Hi,

I read the documentation, but I'm still not sure what the Event List Editor is for. Why do I need it? Could someone please give me some examples of when and how to use the event list editor?

Cheers.

It's for when you need to see / edit all events in a sequence.

Imagine you play piano and cut the part in two. It can happen, that sustain-on (Midi #64) is on (127), as the corresoponding off is in the other part, thus resulting in "hanging" notes in live-play as the sustain-pedal is thought to be pressed. Can be corrected in event list editor easily!

Or, you import a Midi-file. Can be, that there are program-change events on the very start which your synth might interpret in some (strange) way. Easy to see in event list editor.

In short: Every time you find any unexplainable behavior in your song have a look at this editor to check on event-level.
