I think it is you that needs to look again. You're either trolling or have totally misread that article. Scroll down the page - that's the relevant part.elxsound wrote: Mon Aug 29, 2022 7:24 amYes true. It’s exactly their terminology, not my own.apricotandpearjam wrote: Mon Aug 29, 2022 6:13 amnot true.
you can ‘open’ third party libraries in the browser, but not ‘import’ them, which i think is what we’re all hoping for.
that would mean ALL your libraries in the libraries browser, rather than some being in the file browser.
This might not be what you’re hoping for, but this is what the NI calls it. Just follow the link and see for yourself.
It's very clear - currently full Kontakt just uses the file browser and Quick Load to navigate to non-Player libraries on disk. You cannot import fully like you can with Player libraries. Equally clear from the leak that this main new feature should be proper importing with tagging (maybe an image too?), and hopefully these libraries will co-exist with the Player ones so as to be indistinguishable in action. I suspect this might just be in the new full-frame browser, not the side bar, we'll have to wait and see.
I'd love to have basic categories for libraries - guitars, drums, brass, keyboards, voice, synths etc.
