Yes, that is a bit weird and due to the misuse of the MCU protocol which is actually designed for 8 tracks and not 1. As a workaround you can touch the fader to select the displayed track.Harmonic wrote: Tue Aug 23, 2022 11:51 pm Bitwig (4.3.4) with Behringer X-Touch One - The channel selection buttons changes track selection as indicated by the controller state, but it does not change the UI state in Bitwig (the previous track still shows as selected). This behavior is fixed if I change the "has only 1 fader" to off but obviously that's the wrong setting for the X-Touch One.

Seriously impressed by Squarp Hapax. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll look into it.StuMach wrote: Sat Aug 27, 2022 8:43 pm My new favorite controller is the Squarp Hapax. My longtime favorite DAW is Bitwig (obviously...). Any chance of a Hapax controller interface?
Best,
Stu
But as Mr. Moss said - this is a standalone sequencer on its own. I don't see the need for this to be tied to Bitwig-like "empty" controllers such as Push 2 or AKAI Fire or am I missing something? Squarp Hapax seems to have a brain of its own.
I love my AKAI Fire and Moss Bitwig script. I only miss note "nudge" also called Note micro shift in some videos.
Mr. Moss this is not me requesting anything from you. I was thinking perhaps you are somehow better connected with the guys over at Bitwig (my speculation) and was thinking perhaps you could ask them what is their current state or plan to integrate the note "Nudge" function?moss wrote: Sun Aug 28, 2022 3:50 pm Up to my knowledge that is a hardware sequencer. I do not think that it can be somehow reprogrammed as a controller. Or am I missing something?
I am aware I could send them an email but I am speculating that this inquiry coming from you would have much more "weight" so to speak, than from a random internet dude like me.
Just a thought - not a request.
Have a great week.

Hi Jürgen,
Question on Apc 40 MKII:
Do you think it’s possible to have an option when apc’s faders are fully up it match odb on bitwig volume faders instead of +10db ?
Thanks for your time !

You can set this up on the Bitwig preferences.

DrivenByMoss 17.5 is out!
Get it from https://mossgrabers.de
Enjoy!
Get it from https://mossgrabers.de
- Requires Bitwig 4.3+
- Support for Novation LaunchControl XL
- Beatstep
- New: Toggle Window button uses different colors depending on window state (blue = closed, pink = opened).
- New: Removed the useless track navigation functions in the track mode and added rec arm and toggling folders instead.
- Fixed: Prevent view change on track change, which is confusing on the Beatstep since it leaves Track view.
Enjoy!

The workaround works well once you develop the muscle memory. Thank you for all the great work you do. Your latest update made me want a LaunchControl XL.moss wrote: Sun Aug 28, 2022 7:58 pmYes, that is a bit weird and due to the misuse of the MCU protocol which is actually designed for 8 tracks and not 1. This video is so full of spam, that its impossible to watch! What happened?
How can Google know that this is a video I really want to watch, as I own a LaunchControl XL???
All the other videos I could watch here at KVR, this one forces me to watch on YT and has more minutes of spam than the duration of the whole video. Not only that, the spam is repeating, it wants me to watch the same shit over and over again… Somebody must fight the Google aggression…
Also those advertisers should be boycotted for the rest of their hopefully short existence…
Sorry for the rant… I love Moss… I’d rather be a Patreon…

As YT is mostly what I watch anymore I caved and pay. It’s much more enjoyable without the ads and spam.
But more to the point. Yes to a patreon. Does Moss have one?

wow I dont know what to say. You made the launch control xl relevant!! Do you sleep? Very creative use of the knobs. If you ever had a Yamaha keyboard I would love to see what you would do scripting that thing with all its buttons knobs and so forth.
I noticed you have chance on the drum sequencer and not on the note sequencer. Is that doable? Is it doable on other devices like the fire? Note chance when sequencing is kind of a big deal.

Yes! Note chance and velocity already. Look at atlas 2.3 to see how powerful probability is with drums.
