I usually wouldn't mind but Spektralisk has been posting a new shitty "deal" every day. It's annoying and it's probably losing them business. I would have been open to buying presets from them, but now I'm never going to. Many potential customers won't even see their "deals" because they've been foed....Sebastiantheseeker wrote: Mon Aug 29, 2022 3:17 amsometimes if you want something fixed, you have to make it worse. find a bunch of other people who sell soundsets and samples and tell them to join an dpost every day, and then make your own sample selling page and spam this list every day. eventually a majority will complain and then they might do something about it lolssl4000 wrote: Sun Aug 28, 2022 10:03 pmthese quite irrelevant guys are promoting their products 5 times more often than large retailers like jrr (which have way more to offer), it's just annoyingKurdish Mayfield wrote: Sun Aug 28, 2022 9:06 amAdvertising soundsets is not spam. i wonder why they dont seperate plugins from files that go into plugins

Yeah, just "foe" the preset-makers and move on if you find them annoying. It's clear the mod's aren't going to force them to have a separate thread. Life's too short.
A well-behaved signature.

"Foe"
Very "cringe".
It would be a start abandoning this term of the nineteenth century.

It’s the term the KVR forum system uses. Under “user preferences“ you will find the section “friends & foes”.Dostoyevsky wrote: Tue Aug 30, 2022 7:38 am "Foe"

That's exactly my point.mgw38 wrote: Tue Aug 30, 2022 10:29 am It’s the term the KVR forum system uses. Under “user preferences“ you will find the section “friends & foes”.
For what it's worth, adding users to one's list replaces the wall of spam with a wall of posts telling you that you cannot see those persons' posts because you put them on your list.
Great success.

The whole idea of tagging people in ”friends and foes” in the Forum like the Kvr sound very highschool-popularity-contest-teenage approach.

Some of these preset people post almost daily, this would be great not to always need to check their post out to see they're on the foe list.

The problem with foe lists is you have to be logged in for it to work. Easier to to just scan and ignore it. Likewise, I keep notifications to an absolute minimum. Emails and current specific topic threads.
Moving on from that, I do have a question about Plugin Alliance and any relationship they have with Audio Damage. Avoided PA as nothing really interested me. Until they ran a no-brainer sale on AD Eos 2. So I signed up and of course, now have my email flooded with "offerings". None, of which are Audio Damage.
Was this just a one off or will they actually start selling AD?
Or should I just unsubscribe?
