added a little bit more to my article, I thought I was going to list off the redundant algorithms across each plugin, but upon viewing through an oscilloscope, I actually found even with the similar models (soft clip, sine fold) each one had a unique output, and it was not due to input gain range, or output trim. I did not compare each and every shape, and perhaps something like plugin doctor will give more honest results, I'm not an audio engineer, I'm a sound designer

Hi, I've seen this question at least a dozen times today, so I finally decided to write my first article

Yup- that's one of the best all round creative distortions I have used, may have just replaced Thermal as my go to...for $29 a must have for me...it can do very good compression/saturation as well as the extreme stuff...a virtual electron analogue heat and more!

I also like the way Arturia just launch stuff when its ready with a great upgrade price and none of that teaser nonsense, I'll keep buying from them for that reason alone!

Where did you see it at $29 ?

$49 here, but I just have Easel V and some freebies at this point.

Eh, I'll think about demoing it. Maybe it's really good, but I do have Rift, Ohmicide, and several other distortion options and don't really feel a pull toward more.

Just ran it over a model 72 track, f**k, this thing is WILD. Feedback system is awesome. sounds really extreme, if you want. I want that This wil be great next to the audiority pyros for conventional things and this arturia one for the beyond the gates of hell stuff

MID/SIDE option and having a different algorhytm running is also cool.

CPU load is not light, depending on patch, some are really heavy

Ah, would not be surprised if that's it. They may not be counting you towards updates until the final installment is paid. Which would make some sense.

Yep I read, I think on GS, that's the case. Only fully paid product will count.
