As the OP mentioned, those are semi-open, not closed. But being in the market for both, I'll keep in mind :tu:

FWIW I have not used but heard good things about the Limitless HP3BK and Status CB1. I have not heard good things about the Senn 206, but again I have not used so take with a grain of salt.

The ATs are good headphones but rather hyped in the low end. If you don't mind that, they could be an option.

I'm really into the Superlux HD681B! They are not super comfy and semi open, but they bleed less than Beyers.

I had the Superlux HD681 (the black/red ones) and they were pretty bad IMO. I don't know why people like them.
I don't even think they're good for the price, because I used some cheap Sony, Philips and Sennheiser models that were all better or at least they weren't offensive. The Superlux were both painful to wear for more than 10 minutes and painful to listen to (they had some harshness in the sound and a boost in high frequencies).

Anyway, OP asked about closed back headphones. I don't like using those, except if I really have to (noisy environment). In the budget category maybe the Sennheiser HD-201 could work, but the ear cups are somewhat small and don't have great isolation. And it looks like they're discontinued now (HD-206 is the replacement?).

Superlux HD662 EVO. Served me good for some time. Second pair broke recently, too. The head band ripped off as with the first pair I own. Both after a little less than a year.
Good headphones for that price if you don't need undistorted high levels.
As always, you need to get used to your monitoring stuff, in this case headphones. Listen to a lot of music to KNOW how stuff sounds on these headphones. Then you can use crappy or cheap stuff to work. For these 33€ you get tons of value.

? How are headphones that break in about a year good headphones?

Post

I like my Sennheiser HD 206. But if they ever break, I'm definitely going to give the Superlux 668B's a try.

Monoprice 8323 are IMO the ultimate budget headphones.

I currently have my eyes on the Sennheiser HD 206 and I just wanted to know if there are any other alternatives worth looking at in this price range.
SAMSON SR850 for me. I find them pretty good for my needs, despite the extra 10kish sharpness (which a simple EQ can tackle)
