Simple feature request for the next version

I still would like a simple way to enter text notes on tracks, or anywhere in T that might need it.
Somebody told me about the Scribbler VSTi, but it makes latency issues big-time with T.
I just want to write down some notes that are either attached to clips, or tracks, or filters.
Reason:
I still have issues with some tricky VSTi that absolutley refuse to hold presets when saved in the edit. The one that comes to mind is the Carbon synth from Reaktor. I just want to write down which patch I used. Preset setting save doesn't work on this VSTi nor will it remember which patch was used in the edit. With a little note box attached to the filter, I can at least write down what patch was used.
Does anybody else have this issue; wanting to keep notes with an edit to take care of some things that aren't being done automatically in T for whatever reason?
Also, speaking of that Carbon synth - it seems to want to reset my project sample rate setting when it loads upon opening the edit where I have an instance of it in the filters on a track.

When I have a problem with a synth (which is ultra-rare) I usually open it within EXT and it works fine. I've really only had to do this with PPGWave. But anyways if it sorts out your problems, I feel EXT is a great work around becuase it also does a lot of other things.rockstar_not wrote:I still would like a simple way to enter text notes on tracks, or anywhere in T that might need it.

But definitely the note pad feature would be very welcome. Its been requested a lot and Jules already stated that he wanted to do a note system so hopefully it'll be ready for T2.

Yes great advice. Lets all email Jules about requests that have been made thousands of times already. Do a search and you'll find requests for that feature well over a year ago. I'm sure its on the list alreadyrpc9943 wrote:sigh...
well yes we should have notepads, email jules before release hurry

But yes, lets all keep emailing Jules with every little request or comment or complaint so he can spend all his time reading dumb ass emails and not coding T2.

Ron, you are just daft enough to assume that every single idea you think of, that isn't already in Tracktion, hasn't been posted to this forum at least 30 times already over the last year.
Try following AD80's advice, and do a search, you'll be amazed how many features have been requested.
