I don't think I'll bite on this one. I did compare it to Instinct, very different I know, but Instinct is much more "my thing"

Yes I like it. I was comparing it to Rift. They both have a different enough vibe and approach not to overlap too much.

Guys, is this only me or Arturia has a 70% sale for FX Collection 3 + Dist Coldfire?
I clicked buy for 299 and it dropped to 129 on the payment page.

Edit: Turns out it was a "Special Offer For Me to Crossgrade to FX Collection 3", but I don't have anything apart from V Collection 9 to crossgrade from. I bought it for €129 anyway, it seemed like a great deal.

indeed. for many people it is 129 for FX 3 + Coldfire..

No, but they are doing deals on FX 3 + Coldfire....it will probably be included in FX4.

If you buy FX3 now, you will get COLDFIRE for free. This is a special offer. Just follow the link on the website.

$129 is like having $99 for FX3 back + $30 for COLDFIRE. That's a nice move by Arturia. Those that missed out on last $99 FX3 sale (for V Collection owners IIRC), can get the same deal back and get COLDFIRE for just $30 more. And for those that already bought FX3 before for $99, COLDFIRE is currently $29.

Just before you add FX3 to cart, it should show "+ Dist COLDFIRE (Free)" under the FX Collection 3 image.

I bought it. Could I achieve similar things using things I have and modulation in Bitwig? Yeah, but it’s worth $29 to have an integrated software plugin, and the algorithms sound very good to me. No obvious aliasing. Another well done effect from Arturia. They’re swiftly becoming my favorite software developer.

I finally remembered to have a play with this last night and I found half-a-dozen nice presets I think we could get some use out of. But then I just went and checked out Instinct and I loved what it did in the first video. So now I'll have to try that demo before I decide what to buy.
