Diva and random voicing modifiers choice?

Hello,

I'm using Diva and when I have one-note rhythmic ostinato patterns (like constant pitch eights) the sequence of tuning modifiers becomes recognizable (especially if the tuning offsets are quite extreme between the voices). Is there a way to have each played note pick a random tuning modifier instead of the strict sequence?

Sorry if it's documented and easy, but I haven't found it in the manual.

Thanks,
Mario

Try this:
On the Modifications tab set Add to VoiceMap + Random. On the Trimmers tab set the Voice Map Modulator knobs as desired. On the Main page use Add as the modulation source for the Tune Mod knob and set the amount there as desired. This might produce more modulation contribution from Random than you want so remember you can hold the Shift key while moving a knob to make changes in smaller increments and barely move the knob from 0 setting.
Maybe you could also simply use Random as the modulation source for the Tuning Mod and use a small setting on the amount knob.

Are you talking about the individual Osc detune knobs or the Voice Map modulators?

Sorry for the delay, I'm talking about the "Oscillator Voice Detune" trimmers section.

@ho66it, thanks for the suggestion, I still haven't found the time to try it.

Thanks for the idea ho66it, though it would be really nice if there was just an option in the synth to randomly select which voice is played each time a note is pressed.

In Bitwig, I can now use the CLAP version of Diva and setup a few of Bitwig's Random modulators to adjust per voice/osc tuning. Then I save that as the default Bitwig device preset for Diva so anytime I add an instance of Diva, that is already set up.

Thanks, this helped a lot together with the trimmer variance section knobs (BTW, what do the buttons near the various variance knobs do? They just flash when clicked...)
