I will pass on the current sale $129/$49 but will be a buyer at $60 for Dist COLDFIRE and Efx FRAGMENTS bundle.
Ok, wishful thinking!
But, can change my mind by 9-15-22.

Is there anyone who has Fx Collection 2 + Fragments that can tell me their upgrade pricing?
The upgrade to FX Collection 3 + Coldfire I mean.
Thx in advance

Their upgrades are definite worth it. Especially if you can get it for the introductory offer. What Lies Beyond wrote: Tue Sep 06, 2022 10:46 am Is there anyone who has Fx Collection 2 + Fragments that can tell me their upgrade pricing?

I just upgraded a few months ago myself and unfortunately ColdFire was not included. I can get it now for I think $30, or I can hold off for the next bundle update. I might do the latter as I'm desperately trying to save for a new computer. unfortunately, I'm not doing as well as I would like to be in that regard.

That didn't work for me, I could only get that offer at $299 or FX 3 only at $129, no Coldfire. Then for some reason going back in the browser to the original link resulted in the price being changed to $129 for both. Magic. I think this might be an error to do with the system, and the deal might not last long.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Tue Sep 06, 2022 3:43 am Just before you add FX3 to cart, it should show "+ Dist COLDFIRE (Free)" under the FX Collection 3 image.

Go to
https://www.arturia.com/products/softwa ... e/overview
Word search "show offer details". If you hover your mouse you'll see it includes Coldfire Free for $99 (but it doesn't otherwise tell you it's "free"!). You have to use that specific link to add to cart, and have to own the relevant products to get the offer..

Had a bit more time with this; it really is excellent.
Query though: is it me or does the wet/dry control tend to introduce phase consequences which don't occur with other distortion plugins? I'm finding that dialling in the right distortion tone and then backing off with the wet/dry control seems to suppress the mids and result in a quieter signal rather than producing what one would expect of a natural blend.

I had the exact same impression yesterday when I tried some presets, tweaked them, and wanted to use the dry/wet knob.chagzuki wrote: Sun Sep 11, 2022 11:33 am Had a bit more time with this; it really is excellent.

It was souding amazing 100% wet, and then using the dry/wet knob it suddenly felt apart...
I was not sure if it was a problem with gain staging (if you use dry/wet knob but the wet version is much louder, you may have the same feeling) or a phase issue. I'm still not sure, I should investigate more precisely the issue...
Maybe we should send a ticket to Arturia and ask them about that...

Weird, I just tried Minimal Audio Rift and there's massive phasing when using the wet/dry control. I don't understand from a technical perspective why this should be the case for wave shaper-type effects.Calagan wrote: Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:22 pm I had the exact same impression yesterday when I tried some presets, tweaked them, and wanted to use the dry/wet knob.

There's no sign of it in any other Arturia plugins, not the compressors, Bus FORCE or Dist TUBE-CULTURE.

mmm. It makes sense... I didn't have time, but I'll test...chagzuki wrote: Sun Sep 11, 2022 6:34 pm Ah, I think it's the filter pre-distortion that's shifting the phase, in Coldfire.
