Help creating pitch down growl bass - Kyunchi: Paris and Nicole

I've got the general gist of the sound, but it doesn't really sound like the original. Was wanting some guidance. Any help is greatly appreciated

Things I suspect are wrong:
- Initial waveform (sounds like a SQ with multiband compression, but I'm really not sure)
- I think there's waveform manipulation, but I don't know.
- I think there's an LFO on the cutoff, but I don't think I've done it right.
